Rev. N. Gregory Van Dyke (Pastor Greg) has served as pastor of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church since August 2016.A 1996 MDiv. graduate of The Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, Pastor Greg was ordained in 1996 and served congregations in Pennsylvania from 1996 until 2016. Prior to entering seminary Pastor Greg worked in both restaurant and bank management.He holds a BA in Psychology from East Carolina University (1983), a Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University (1996), and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College (2015).His community involvement has consisted of serving as Captain of a local volunteer ambulance service (past), and Chaplain of a Disaster Mortuary Response Team (present). During his time in parish ministry, Pastor Greg has had the opportunity to: 1)Participate in hurricane recovery in Puerto Rico following hurricane George. 2)Participate in the construction of a house in Nassau, Bahamas. 3)Participate in concrete work and painting at a school in Montego Bay, Jamaica. 4)Participate in constructing the walls for a house in Davidsville, PA, loading them on a truck, and shipping them to Bastrop, TX where he joined a small team that assembled them on a building site. Pastor Greg is married to Linda.Together they have three adult children.They currently live in Murrells Inlet, SC.
